Grid Point Investigation

The Grid Point Investigation workflow in the Grid-Based Analysis follows a similar methodology to that used in the Hazard Assessment application. This consistency allows users to apply familiar investigative techniques when transitioning between applications, while maintaining comparable interpretation frameworks.

Available Investigations

Frequency–Magnitude (FM) Analysis

As in the Hazard Assessment application, Frequency–Magnitude (FM) relationships can be examined for an individual grid point to assess goodness of fit.

Apparent Stress Ratio (ASR) Analysis

In addition to FM analysis, the Grid-Based Analysis application provides the ability to investigate the Apparent Stress Ratio (ASR) for a picked grid point.
