Location and Mechanism Quality
This window is used to assess the event location and mechanism quality. As events move away from the seismic array, the relative location error for a given magnitude is expected to increase, as well as the confidence in the location accuracy.
A grid will first need to be selected using the Grid panel. The main analysis tool in this window is the Isos surface series in the QI 3D view. The isos are plotted based on the Relative location error or Location quality index which can be selected in the markers options. The Isos will vary based on the selected magnitude in the Controls panel.
Additional tools in the window
There is a Sensor Pick panel that allows visualising sensor information based on the sensor picked in the 3D view using the F2 key.
